I was very proud that long pumpy 6a+ routes like this classic one at Thaiwand Wall became a walk in the park after the first solid month of climbing. Five minutes was my typical lead 30 meter ascent time, much less on toprope - I sometimes went to 123 Wall just for some quick exercise on a working day and climbing often "Make a Way" (6a+), doing it twice in a row on toprope taking only 2-3 minutes for the 30 meter ascent.

I climbed this thing a second time mostly just to get this shot - the first time I was kicking myself not to have my camera. The route, "Mai Pen Rai" (6a+) at Defile Wall, has one of the most amazing anchor views you are ever likely to find.
